Looking to become a teacher?

Earn your elementary or secondary teaching certificate in less than 2 years.  Trinity’s accelerated Teaching Certification program is available to both degree seeking students and those who already have a degree. 

Those who already have a bachelor's degree or higher will earn their teaching certificate and those who do not yet have a bachelor's degree will earn both a bachelor's degree and their teaching certificate.

FORMAT
• 15 months of coursework (one night a week)
• 17 weeks (one semester) of student teaching

LOCATIONS
• Our main campus in Palos Heights
• College of DuPage - Addison Center
• Chicago at 1550 S. State St.

ELIGIBILITY
• Transfer at least 65 hours of previous college credit (grade of "C" or better)
• Minimum GPA of 2.7 in chosen major or minor
• Pass the Illinois Basic Skills test
• Complete the Adult Studies application for admission
• Submit the $25 application fee

START DATES
• January (all locations)
• June (Palos Heights only)
• September (all locations)

TUITION
• $542 per credit hour (total tuition is $24,390) in September
• Tuition includes all books and study guides
• Financial aid is available to those who qualify
